Language Art Product Sale!!

Last week, we were organizing LANGUAGE ART PRODUCT SALE together with CALC at CALC Foyer, FBMK.

 We were selling all projects that we have done throughout the meeting every week such as :: 

bookmarks 

greeting cards

door hanger

motivational photo frame

diy kite

This is the video where we were discussing about the sale. The sale will be held from 10am to 4pm.

We were managed to collect RM30 after selling the products.. and all of us seem happy and little bit sad to leave the group as we had done a lot to make the projects real and fun.

We also want to thank Madam Norlida because keep advising us throughout the project..

#5 Motivational Frame

18 April 2014 Friday 8.30pm

1)      We do motivational frame based on our respective design. 2)      Most of us use color paper as the main material to complete the design. 3)      We share and discuss a lot about the suitable quotes that we can use in the frame. 4)      It was a very good time where we are sharing our material and have fun. 5)      The frames were so nice to put at the study area as a motivation. 6)      At last we took some pictures.

#6 DIY Kite

18 April 2014 Friday 8.30pm

1)      This is our last project for this course. We have decided to design very simple cute kites for this last project 2)      The main materials in order to make these kites are color paper ,glue, and also few accessories to enhance the kites appearance. 3)      We have chosen suitable and meaningful quotes to write on the kites as the motivation for us. 4)      We  are taking pictures and video records with the kites to draw the sweet memory in our hearts 5)      Lastly, we have decided to do a farewell meeting as to choose the top 3 best designs for every projects.

#4 Door Hanger

03-04-2014 Thursday Week 7

1)   We have our fourth meeting at KAA around 8.00pm. All of the six members were present for the meeting. 2)   We brought some boxes and cardboard to do door hanger which we already have decided. 3)   We use some recyclable items such as boxes, news papers, ect. 4)   We shared our things like scissor, glue, color papers and pens with our group members to make the door hanger. 5)   We write some quotes on the door hanger beside write “Don’t Disturb” 6)   This week our Facilitator come and checks our progression. She gave some information about the things we have to do after this. 7)   After we have done with the door hanger, we take a video record of our self talking about the door hanger. 8)   Around 10.00pm we started to clean up the place and go back.

#3 making greeting cards

24 March 2014 Monday (Week 6)

1.       We have our meeting for the third time at KAA Cafe at 8.00pm. Hemilda, Shafiah, Yusof, Naziha, Kumutha, and Afiqah are all present. 2.       We have made a creative and beautiful greeting cards of each one of us as planned during the first discussion. 3.       The materials that we used were colour pens, marker, recycle box, scissors, glue, colour paper, printed quotes and cute printed cartoons in order to make the greeting cards look more attractive. So, we started to think of creative idea to design a greeting cards. 4.       We had come out with 6 different type of greeting cards which were for Mother’s day, Friendship day, congratulation wishes, “Get Well Soon”, Happy Birthday, and “Good Luck” cards. 5.       All members were so enthusiastic to make the greeting cards despite   6th week was the test week. 6.       After finished, we did the video record as the evidence of our activity that day. 7.       Before packed up own things to go back, we did not forget to clean up everything.

#2 : Making the Bookmarks

Week 5 (17 March 2014)

1)    We met at KAA on Monday at 8.00 pm. All members (Shafiah, Yusof, Naziha, Kumutha, Hemilda and Afiqah) were present. 2)    We made bookmark as planned in the meeting last week. 3)    Using material such as cardboard, art scissor, glue, coloured paper, assorted coloured pen, markers, and other, we started to make own bookmark each. 4)    We search some of our favourite quotes from the internet such as motivational quotes, life quotes and famous person’s quote to be written on the bookmark. 5)    After finished, we recorded the video to show our bookmark. 6)    Before going home, we began tidying up the mess we made and decided the place and time for our next meeting. 7)    Everyone agreed to meet at the same place and the same time next week.

Week 4 (11/03/2014)

1)      We all met for the first time with all the members completely who were Kumutha, Afiqah, Naziha, Hemilda, Yusof and Shafiah in the library block B around 8pm to 9.30pm. 2)      It was the ice-breaking session among the group members who were totally coming from different colleges, backgrounds and identity. 3)      We had discussed that we need a near and cozy place for the discussions and video recordings. So, KAA is the majority place chosen for the future discussions. 4)      We have chosen 5 projects to be done: -bookmarks -greeting cards -door hanger -motivational poster frame -diy kite

Week 3 (7/03/2014)

1)      We all met for the first time with some of the members to listen to the instructions and introductions from our lecturer coordinator in Bilik Seminar 5, KAA at 5pm to 7pm. 2)      The group members that had attended the meeting were Kumutha, Shafiah and Afiqah. While, Yusof, Naziha and Hemilda could not came because they had to attend the laboratory class on that time. 3)      Shafiah was appointed as a group leader and she received the attendance sheet for the weekly attendance of the group members.
